I've been taking photos for as long as I can remember. It started off with a pink Barbie Polaroid camera and never really stopped. I love the world of digital, but my roots are in analogue. A hobby and love quickly became an interest, study, and career. Portraits are my passion and I love capturing a side of people they don't often get to see of themselves. I strive for a session with me to feel like an hour or two with a friend, and afterwards, we have a bond that lasts forever.

Monica has done photography for my husband and I for 5 years. Couples shoot, engagement, wedding! She will eventually do maternity and newborn for us! She is so personable and makes us so comfortable. We have absolutely loved all of her work, can not speak highly enough of her and the memories she has helped us keep forever. She goes above and beyond and makes the entire shoot a breeze (even though we can be awkward in front of a camera). I recommend her to everyone I love and can’t wait to continue working with her.

I had worked with Monica before for family portraits and headshots, so when it came time for my fiance to book a photographer for our surprise proposal, it was a no-brainer who to choose. The best thing about working with Monica is the way she makes everyone she's working with feel comfortable - because we're all relaxed she can capture beautiful moments where our personalities really shine through. Monica is also very professional and timely - both at the shoot, and afterwards with her delivery of photos. I highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Monica as she makes her client feels comfortable and gives good guidance during a photoshoot! If you're creative and have a solid idea of what you want, Monica knows how to bring your vision to life and then some. She's easy to work with and loves playing around with ideas. What I love most is that she lets you be you and does not enforce poses or environment that takes away who you are; that is the essence of a great photographer!

My fiancé and I hired Monica to shoot our engagement photos at the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis. She traveled for the shoot and was on time, professional, and prepared! She truly didn’t miss a beat. She was so relaxed and fun to work with, she made us feel comfortable and confident. There was never a moment where I felt like a shot wasn’t “us” or was uncomfortable, which was really important to us. My fiancé enjoyed it as much as I did, which is saying a lot for a man who hardly enjoys taking selfies! Ultimately, I would recommend Monica to any friend getting engaged, married, or having a baby! My husband and I booked Monica for a newborn photo session and we couldn't be happier with our experience! She came to our place (which is super convenient with having a newborn!) and she brought everything needed for the pictures. (Backdrop, props, blankets, etc) Not only did she take amazing pictures, but she was so great with posing our baby and had the magic touch to keep him calm and relaxed for the pics. We were also pleasantly surprised to get all of the edited pictures back within a couple weeks, which is much faster than you could expect from most people/places! The pictures we got were breathtaking and we love them all! We highly recommend Monica Inglot Photography and will definitely be back for more pictures!

Monica did a sweet maternity shoot and baby shower pictures for my husband and I on a quick trip back to Chicago. She gave wonderful suggestions for a variety of memorable photographs and even brought personalized props for shoot! At the baby shower, she captured truly memorable moments and candid shots. Exactly what we discussed! We received our edited photographs less than 2 weeks later - amazing turnaround time. I highly recommend working with Monica for all your photography needs!
